Yes, now it’s time to take stock, I have compiled all the looks of 2013 in what I called “Style Yearbook 2013”, a summary of what happened on my blog this year.
New Year’s Eve is almost here. This is my proposal, a total look by h&m, the star garment is this sequined blazer that I love. My advice with a special garment like this is to relax the rest, because we do not want to look like a Christmas tree, do we?.
It’s Christmas time. I wish you all a happy winter break and for those Christmas averse, don’t worry it’ll pass soon.
I am delighted with my ART new boots, they are from the Autumn Winter 2013 collection. True to their fun and carefree style, colors and textures have been mixed while maintaining the essence that has characterized the company since its inception. “Bye Bye Sole” one of the technological innovations introduced, is the union of the sole and the insole to create more comfortable and flexible shoes.
The look of today is more relaxed and casual as my new sweatshirt by Rascals No History 08, I found it in Coutie, an online store that I just discovered, the pattern was love at first sight. I recommend you this store, it has very interesting things.
Winter is here, at least in this area, fog, frost, cold, very cold, I love these days, the light is special and is changing by the hour, the photos remain with that winter touch. I’ve rescued this Canadian coat from the 70’s therefore it’s vintage
As I mentioned in previous post, this winter the black is my favorite, different shades and textures and strong splashes of color. These touches bring you to my beloved Dr.Martens and my new sweater with multicolored borders.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road (The Wizard of Oz), this is what comes to my mind whenever I wear my red desert Xti boots. This time I have combined with gray and black hues of my new scarf blanket.
Once you get used to using a bag (any type) you can not live without it, this shopping bag by Loeds is perfect for everyday, for work, college, shopping, a coffee, good for everything, for example something I always carry with me is the SLR camera. With this bag, without problems.
Thoughts in front the closet any given Sunday morning: What if I wear the fedora together with the “batamanta” (scarf blanket) will it look fine over the coat? yes indeedy, I love it. I look myself into the mirror, once I finish…mmm, very dark, ready for the coven again? don’t pigeonhole yourself, a splash of color will go better, maybe lemon yellow socks and Dr. Martens shoes. Now it does. Perfect.
When I walked out the door and looked at myself into the mirror, I told to myself, Jeff, you are ready to go to the coven, and yes I’m a little bit obsessed with the new season of American Horror Story. I think this passion is influencing my style, lol.
I’m fond of this Vintage jacket, it was one of my purchases on my trip to New York at Christmas 2010, and whenever I wear it I remember the day I bought it and how much I enjoyed. It has a curiosity, inside it has embroidered the owner’s name and date, neither more nor less than 1968
Any Given Sunday, I wear my Refresh new shoes, grab some beers, buy some vinyls and make some pictures. I think it goes without saying, but the looks I show are made with the clothes I wear that day, not borrowed clothes, nor take the pictures and return the clothes back, for that, are many others around there.
Today I want to show you the full look I brought to public view some days ago in the roll-up trend video. It’s actually one of my favorites. The fedora hat is one of the latest trends, and I discovered it thanks to my friend Ladycolors that that dropped me a tip-off at Primark. What more could I say about the sweatshirt…
It has been a long time since I wore blazer and brogues… I love black brogue shoes. Now that we are in fall, I’m a pile of desire to wear them. I like to play with colors, professional bias (I’m Illustrator)
I know that in some areas they can get rashes just to see me like that, but since it’s cold here, and some days it’s really very cold as to wear for the first time my brand new mens blanket scarf. The idea is to wear it as a poncho (Chavela Vargas ON mode), with a simple denim shirt for the current temperatures is ideal.
These autumn days where it’s cold in the morning, you start with the sweatshirt, but hours go by and midday heat arouses, then is the moment you begin to feel that it’s too much, so you take it by the hand or leave it in the car, but on the shoulders like a cape will add a touch of style to your look.
The Tartan is one of the prints of the season, after some search, I rescued this shirt that was one of my favorites a few years ago. The shoes are from Re-up a French company that I’ve just discover, but I love them.
